Hiking Half Dome

My dad was inspired by the movie, The Bucket List. He decide to make his own list a reality and we started by Hiking Half Dome.

Belize

We spent five days at a friend's vacation home in Belize. We took the kayaks out the island to snorkel. It was such a relaxing and wonderful time!

This is the door to the house where we ground cocoa beans to make chocolate and then pounded it into wooden frames. It was delicious! I brought some home to make hot chocolate with.

This is from the start of our volcano hike. We hiked down to the sacred crater lake and actually saw an active volcano erupting in the distance!

This was a very busy market where you could buy just about anything.

 

 

We stumbled upon this waterfall as we were hiking through a fair trade organic banana and coffee farm.

 

 

Guatemala

The roads are very skinny. It is hard to believe these are two lane roads!

 

  

 

Many of the cemetery statues had missing limbs. The extremities would get cut off and the limestone would be sold at the market.
